Benny is a former international development consultant who has worked for organizations such as Oxfam, World Bank, and UNDP. He has also been the director of War on Want as well as European Director for International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, where he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 fort heir excellent work in preventing a nuclear war.
